I don't know why its so hard to post pics & text and not have to adjust it so many times to make it look right...... so this is just a test. I repeat, this is only a test!

A Day in the Life of Ben

I have been a busy man in the last couple of months. I now have two bottom teeth. I don't bite or at least not yet. I am rolling around like a mad man! I kinda crawl (I do a little army crawl thing, but always get my right arm stuck under my belly) but if I'm trying to get somewhere I roll, roll, roll. Mom and Dad are going to have to baby proof the house soon so I better get to the good stuff while I still can.

I love taking baths. Splashing and playing with my duck is so much fun. I talk all the time. Mom & dad like to think "Mama and dada" are what I am saying but basically everything means more food or pick me up, NOW!. I can also scream, I get a kick to see the reaction on my mom and dad's faces. I can now give kisses and high fives. My mom is teaching me how to blow kisses, but I think that might take awhile.

I'll be going to the doctors in a couple of weeks for my 9 month check up, so I'll make sure to keep you all updated.

Welcome to Internet Benjamin Pierce Butkus!

Just wanted to send a special shout-out to Nick, Kate & Tommy to thank them for such a great idea. If you are wondering how in the world did Nici & Luke come up with an idea like starting a blog for Benjamin, stop now, I have to admit we stole it from the Piazza's. (I figured Nick owed me after copying off me all those years in college...HA!)

We just thought after seeing the Piazza pages what a great idea to keep everybody up to date with what is happening with the Little Lithuanian Hammer. Plus Nici is on the computer for hours everyday shopping so I think this will be good for several more reasons. So thats the start of it. If anybody has any suggestions/tips on what we should be doing with this thing don't be afraid to let us know, we won't be offended.
